Learn how to file your company's annual return through Bizfile. Most information is pre-filled based on your previous filing to make the process easier.

How to file an annual return

Step 1: Log in to Bizfile and open the 'File annual returns' eService

1. Click 'Login' on the Bizfile homepage.

Step 2: Check entity information and financial year details

1. Check that the entity information is correct and up to date. If you need to update any details, use the "Update entity information" eService under the "Manage" tab before continuing.

Step 3: Complete the declarations for your company type

3a. Exempt Private Company Limited by Shares

1. (Active) State whether the company is solvent, insolvent, or an EPC required by law to file accounts. Then, specify if it qualifies as a small company exempt from audit requirements.

3b. Private Company Limited by Shares

3c. Public Company Limited by Guarantee

Active or dormant status question for Public Company Limited by Guarantee
1. State whether the company is active or dormant.

3d. Public Company Limited by Shares

1. (Active) State whether the company was listed on any Singapore securities exchange during the financial period, or at the time of filing the annual return.

3e. Unlimited Exempt Private Company

3g. Unlimited Public Company

1. State whether the company was listed on any Singapore securities exchange during the financial period concerned, or at the time of filing the annual return.

Step 4: Complete AGM, financial statement, and register information

1. Select the appropriate Annual General Meeting (AGM) option and enter the AGM date. If the company is exempt from holding an AGM, enter the date when the financial statements were sent to members.
