When you have all the information, you may log in to BizFile+ (www.bizfile.gov.sg) to submit your application.

How to register

Login to BizFile+ to register a sole proprietorship or partnership here.

All proposed business owners, including partners or authorised representatives, must endorse their consent on BizFile+ before the business can be registered.

If you require guided assistance to start a sole proprietorship or partnership, you may login to GoBusiness to access the e-Adviser for Starting a Business and complete the guided journey to register your sole proprietorship or partnership.

Alternatively, you may engage the services of a registered filing agent (e.g. law firm, accounting firm, or corporate secretarial firm) to submit the online application on your behalf.

For sole proprietorships and partnerships, registrations are usually approved within 15 minutes after the registration fee is paid.

If an application needs to be referred to another government agency for approval, the registration may take between 14 days to 60 days. For example, the setting up of private schools must be approved by the Ministry of Education before the business can be registered.

You can find the list of Referral Authorities here.

For partnerships, the business is officially registered only after all the partners or authorised representatives have endorsed (or consented) the application.
