ACRA wants to alert the public of scam emails, for example, with the subject headings:

1. “News » ACRA Notification – Intended to Dissolve Company Under Section 344A of the Companies Act [Updated]”

2. "Regulatory Affairs Office » News » Corporate Compliance Warning Notice [Updated]"

3. “You have been added to Regulatory Affairs Office”

These emails claim to be from ‘ACRA’. The scam emails may claim that the recipient's company will be struck off by ACRA or include a link that likely leads to a phishing website.

What You Should Know:

1. Members of the public are advised to ignore these phishing emails – they are not authorised nor sent by ACRA.

2. To report a scam, please call the Police Hotline at 1800-255-0000, or submit a report at www.police.gov.sg/iwitness

3. Members of the public are advised to stay vigilant and follow these security practices to protect themselves against scams:

  • Always verify sender authenticity
  • Do not click on suspicious links or download any attachments

Stay vigilant against scam attempts!
