1.  Latest BizFin^x preparation tool released

The latest version (v.2.7.0) of BizFin^x preparation tool is now available for download at the BizFin^x portal.  The key enhancements include:

- A new option to select “Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (International) [“SFRS(I)”] under “Type of Accounting Standard Used to Prepare Financial Statements”; and

- A new feature to validate and upload XBRL file to BizFin^x server via API (application programming interface), without the need to logon to BizFin^x portal. 

All companies must file their financial statements in XBRL format using this latest version of the BizFin^x preparation tool with effect from 1 September 2019.

The exception is for companies preparing financial statements using SFRS(I) that must use this latest version of the BizFin^x preparation tool with immediate effect. 

Excel / XBRL.zip files prepared using older versions of the BizFin^x preparation tool can still be opened and edited in the latest version without any loss of data.

To install this latest version of BizFin^x preparation tool, please connect your computer to the Internet, launch the BizFin^x preparation tool and click on “Application Updates” on the introduction page.

2. New BizFin^x multi upload tool using API service

To help preparers save time in the filing of their financial statements in XBRL format, ACRA has made available a new BizFin^x multi upload tool. Preparers can now upload a single or multiple XBRL file(s) (prepared using BizFin^x preparation tool or other software) directly to the BizFin^x server via API service, without the need to logon to the BizFin^x portal.
