The BizFinx preparation tool has been updated and the latest version (v2.3.0) is now available for download from the BizFinx website. The updated preparation tool incorporates bug fixes and enhancements such as changes to the text editor to facilitate the preparation of XBRL financial statements.

With the release of the updated preparation tool, XBRL files generated from earlier versions (2.2.0/2.1.0) of the preparation tool will no longer be accepted for filing with effect from 1 July 2015.

Excel / XBRL.zip files prepared using earlier versions of the preparation tool can still be opened and edited in the latest version of the preparation tool without any loss of data.

To update your current preparation tool, please connect your computer to the Internet, launch the BizFinx preparation tool and click on “Application Updates” on the Introduction page.

More about the BizFinx preparation tool

The BizFinx preparation tool is an offline software application provided by ACRA free of charge, for companies to prepare XBRL financial statements in accordance with the revised XBRL filing requirements. The new BizFinx filing system replaces the old FS Manager, which was phased out with effect from 1 March 2014.
