Registered Filing Agents (RFAs) may appoint employees to perform transactions on behalf of their clients. These employees must be supervised by the Registered Qualified Individual(s) (RQI) employed, appointed, or engaged by the RFA. RFAs can maintain the list of employees, update their contact details, and manage their employees' filing access, without the need for tagging to different RQIs. This can be done so via Bizfile using the "General lodgement" eService. There is no fee payable for this transaction.
If an employee has ceased to be employed by the RFA, the RFA may remove the employee using the same "General lodgement" eService on Bizfile. This transaction can only be filed by the authorised officers of the RFA (i.e. directors, secretaries, partners, or owners). There is no fee payable for this transaction.
