Group secretaries and Holding companies

Group secretaries appointed by holding companies may carry out transactions using the electronic transaction system on behalf of these holding companies and their related corporations without having to be first registered as filing agents. These holding companies and related corporations will also not need to be first registered as filing agents.

Officers of companies and similar categories of persons

Appointed officers of companies (e.g. directors, secretaries) carrying out a transaction with the registrar on behalf of their own company will not have to be first registered as filing agents. Similar categories of persons for businesses, limited partnerships and limited liability partnerships (e.g. partners and sole-proprietors) will similarly not have to be first registered as filing agents to carry out transactions on behalf of their business entities using the electronic transaction system.
