Appoint a liquidator or provisional liquidator for the voluntary winding up of your local company or limited liability partnership through Bizfile.
Before you appoint
Appointing a liquidator is the third and final required filing for a members’ or partners’ voluntary winding up. Before you can appoint a liquidator, you need to:
You may appoint a liquidator or a provisional liquidator to oversee the winding up process. At least one liquidator is required.

Step 1: Log in to Bizfile and open the “File winding up of business entity” eService
Follow these steps to log in to Bizfile and navigate to the File winding up of business entity eService.
Note: All entity and personal information (including UEN, entity details, NRIC or FIN numbers, names and addresses) shown are dummy data for illustration purposes only.

Step 2: Enter liquidator appointment details
The declaration of solvency and notice of resolution details from previous filings will be displayed automatically. Enter the commencement date and add at least one liquidator.
Note: Selecting Start new process on the "Overview of winding up process” pop-up will start a new winding up process and delete all previously saved information.

For accounting LLPs, local companies or audit firm liquidators

For the Official Receiver
When you select the Official Receiver liquidator type, the system will automatically show the Ministry of Law’s official contact details.

Step 3: Make payment and submit
Review all the information, make payment, and submit the liquidator appointment.

After you file
You can use the Manage winding up eService to:
File a notice of appointment of a provisional liquidator or liquidator
File a notice of cessation of a provisional liquidator or liquidator
File a liquidator’s account of receipts and payments, and statement of position in winding up
