File a declaration of solvency for your local company or limited liability partnership (LLP) through Bizfile.
Before you file
Filing a declaration of solvency is the first of three required filings for a members' or partners' voluntary winding up. If the entity is solvent:
Local companies may apply for a members' voluntary winding up
LLPs may file for partners' voluntary winding up

Step 1: Log in to Bizfile and open the "File winding up of business entity" eService
Follow these steps to log in to Bizfile and navigate to the File winding up of business entity eService

Step 2: Enter declaration of solvency details
Select the right winding-up type, and provide details about the declaration of solvency. Steps differ for local companies and LLPs.

Step 3: Review and submit
Upload the required documents, review your filing, and submit.

After you file
To continue with the winding up process, you will need to file a notice of resolution as the next step.
