What you need to do

  1. Top up your CPF Medisave accounts

If you are self-employed and earn over $6,000 a year, you need to either:

  • Pay your Medisave contributions in full

  • Set up a GIRO arrangement with the CPF Board

Consequences: If you or your partners have outstanding payments, your business registration may be cancelled early. You will not be able to renew your business registration too.

Log in to CPF's self-employment dashboard to:

  • Check your payment status

  • Set up payment arrangements, such as GIRO

  1. Renew your business registration

You must renew your registration every one or three years to keep your business active.

Tip: Set reminders to renew your registration. You can renew it up to 60 days before it expires.

  1. Keep your business information updated

Update your LP information within 14 days of any change.

If you are a partner or manager of an LP, you can notify ACRA directly if:

  • You have ceased your role. For example, due to resignation.

  • The LP's general partner has not yet notified ACRA on your behalf.

How to notify: Use the General lodgement eService to notify ACRA.
