The public accountant may do so himself, or engage the services of a registered filing agent (e.g. law firm, accounting firm or corporate secretarial firm) to assist in his submission.

Step 1: EnsureEnsure that you comply with all requirements listed in Requirements for setting up a Public Accounting Corporation.
Step 2: ChooseChoose a corporation name that is not offensive and identical to any other business entity.
Step 3: Log on to BizfileFor Individuals 
Log on to Bizfile to submit the online transaction. 

For Registered Filing Agents (on behalf of public accountants)
 
Engage the services of a registered filing agent (e.g. law firm, accounting firm or corporate secretarial firm).
Step 4: Submit

Submit an online application for a “Application for New Company Name” via Bizfile.

You may be prompted to "register" your corporation in the same transaction (i.e. step 6 and 7) in which you may choose to do so or incorporate the entity at a later date.

Step 5:  PayPay S$15 for a new company name under the Companies Act via the following options:
  • Credit card (MasterCard and VISA)
  • PayPal, Google Pay and Apple Pay
Step 6: SubmitSubmit an online application for a “Incorporation of Local Company” via Bizfile.
Step 7:  Pay

Pay S$300 to incorporate the company under the Companies Act and S$300 for the approval of the PAC under the Accountants Act via the following options:

  • Credit card (MasterCard and VISA)
  • PayPal, Google Pay and Apple Pay

Endorsement of Application After Approval

If you apply for the entity yourself, i.e. without the help of a registered filing agent and there are other directors in the PAC, the system will require all the other directors to endorse the application.  

All the directors will have to log into Bizfile within 3 days from the submission date to endorse the application.

If consent is not obtained from all the directors within 3 days of submission, your application will lapse.

Free Business Profile

Upon successful registration, the new company will receive a free Business Profile - an electronic report containing the entity's registration details. The person who filed the registration will receive a notification in their Bizfile inbox with directions to download this profile.

The Business Profile must be downloaded within 30 days of registration, as the free copy will expire after this period.
