ACRA Board

1.     The Minister for Finance has appointed Madam Esther Wee Yu to the ACRA Board. The appointment will take effect from 7 February 2025.

2.     Madam Wee is currently the Deputy Accountant-General (People & Transformation) and Deputy Chief of Government Finance at the Accountant-General’s Department (AGD). She will assume the role of Accountant-General of AGD when the incumbent Accountant-General, Mr Ow Fook Chuen, assumes the role as the Commissioner of Inland Revenue and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) and steps down from the ACRA Board on 7 February 2025.

Accounting Standards Committee 

3. Madam Wee will also be appointed to the Accounting Standards Committee (ASC) with effect from 7 February 2025.  Mr Ow will step down from the ASC on the same date. 

4.     The Ministry of Finance (MOF) and ACRA welcome Madam Wee and would like to express our deep appreciation to Mr Ow for his valuable contributions to the Board and ASC.
