Suspension / Cancellation of Public Accountants registered with ACRA due to non-compliance with an order issued by the Public Accountants Oversight Committee (PAOC)

The Public Accountants Oversight Committee (PAOC) metes out a range of orders for public accountants undergoing practice reviews, depending on the severity of non-compliance with the professional standards, as well as the public accountant's PMP history. These orders are to be strictly complied with and any non-compliance with the orders may result in suspension or cancellation of the registration as a public accountant.

It is hereby notified for general information that the Public Accountants Oversight Committee has made the following orders for non-compliance with PAOC Order(s), pursuant to

  1. Section 38(1) of the version of the Accountants Act that was in force prior to 1 July 2023; or

  2. Section 38(5) or Section 38(6) of the version of the Accountants Act that is in force from 1 July 2023.
