All self-employed persons are required to pay Medisave contributions as long as they earn a yearly net trade income of more than $6,000.
Individuals must ensure that their Medisave payment status is up-to-date before they register a new sole-proprietorship / partnership, become the owner of an existing sole-proprietorship / partnership, or renew the registration of their sole-proprietorship / partnership.
