The business registration is valid for one year from the date of registration. The registration must be renewed annually before the expiry date. To carry on business after the expiry date is an offence for which the defaulter is liable, on conviction, to a fine not exceeding $5,000, or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months, or both.

Business owners may choose to pay their renewal fees via the Inter Bank Giro (IBG) Service or log into www.bizfile.gov.sg using their ID No and SingPass to renew their registration online.

The registration will be renewed for a fixed period of 1 year and the renewal fee payable is $20.00.

If you do not intend to carry on business after the expiry date of the business registration, please submit a Notice of Cessation of Business online via www.bizfile.gov.sg to close the business. No fee is payable for filing this online transaction.
