With the introduction of the Colour-coded Compliance Rating initiative, companies which are compliant with three important statutory requirements of timely holding of the Annual General Meeting or AGM (s175), laying up-to-date financial statements at the AGM (s201) and the timely filing of the Annual Returns (s197) are eligible for a Certificate of Compliance. A company which has fully complied with the statutory requirements based on the last AR filed is eligible for the Certificate of Compliance.
When do I need it?
For potential investors, the Certificate of Compliance serves as evidence of the company directors’ good corporate governance practices. Compliant companies can leverage on the Certificate of Compliance for their brand equity purposes. Corporate service providers can also use the Certificate of Compliance to show the good service they had rendered to their clients.

Upon successful payment for the Certificate of Compliance, an email containing the URL to the Certificate of Compliance will be sent to you within 30 minutes. Alternatively, you can login to BizFile using your identification number and SingPass, and download the information from your inbox.
