Purchase of Information on Limited Partnerships

 

Any request for purchase of extracts on a LP regulated by MAS regulations (refer to Regulation 12 of the Limited Partnerships Regulations 2009), will be processed manually and may take up to an hour to process. Customers are requested to visit our ACRA office to make the purchase.

Documents required to purchase information on LP after its registration

Type A - LP regulated by MAS regulations (refer to Regulation 12 of the Limited Partnerships Regulations 2009)

For Type A LPs, Business Profiles and Business Profiles with Certificate of Production can be purchased online. However, if customers wish to purchase extracts of such LPs, they are expected to produce a Letter of Authorisation that is duly signed by the Authorised Personnel of the LP stating the following:

  • The UEN and name of the LP
  • The requestor's name (as in identification records) and identification number
  • Your relationship with the LP. For example, whether you are from a professional firm acting on behalf, a general/ limited partner, a manager or an employee working in the LP

Authorised Personnel refer to LP partners, managers and their duly appointed agents (i.e. professional firms, service bureau and their employees). The authorised personnel may also submit their request via Ask ACRA by selecting the category "Purchase of Information". However, payment must be made over the counter and the purchased information must be collected by hand.

Type B - LP not regulated by MAS regulations

If the purchase of information is for Type B, the information can be purchased online. No Letter of Authorisation is required.

Purchasing hours for LP extracts

(applicable to LP regulated by MAS regulations only)

  • Monday to Friday : 9.30am to 11.30am and 2.30pm to 4.30pm
  • Closed on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays

Payment modes and fees payable

Payment for the purchase of information can be made using NETS, Cash, CashCard or Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express) at ACRA’s payment counter. An invoice will be issued once payment is received.

The following fees apply:

  • Extract of Form - $10 (Certification - $2 per page)
  • Extract of Form with Attachments - $25 (Certification - $2 per page)
