Closing a Foreign Company

A foreign branch has to cease its operations in Singapore if its head office has been dissolved or is in liquidation. The local agents of the foreign branch are required to lodge “A Notification by the Agent of a Foreign Company of the Liquidation or Dissolution of a Company” via BizFile.

If the foreign company’s local branch in Singapore has ceased business, the local agents are required to lodge “A Notification by A Foreign Company of the Cessation of Business” via BizFile.
